I have a 686 SSR and wouldn't mind getting one of those. I like the non-fluted barrel look (just got a 627 PC). The ribbing (?) on the barrel is different. Jury still out on the orange front sight. And, I like the cylinder release. Hogue has them, and I checked with S&W, not a available as a part yet. Overall though I like it. Can always use a 7th .357!

Let me at them! They're not J-frames, but I'll make do. Really like the 6-shot 4" bbl model. Not a fan of the 7-shot 686 Plus style, from personal experience. Will have to change out that dog's-leg thumbpiece so I can pocket carry the gun.
