Some Classics Discontinued?
I was looking for some info and
consulted the S&W home site
regarding the Model 27 and
Model 586 Classics.
No Model 27 Classic in either
4-inch or 6.5-inch barrels.
For the Model 586, only the
4-inch was shown and I swear
a month or so ago the 6-inch
was present. Not now.
Gone, baby, gone???

Just seen both click on revolvers ,series then classics ,if you click on a model like the 586 and click back page it shows all revolvers, need to start over and click classics again.

Now it works. I clicked on "classic " and it showed them. They're all there.
But it is misleading. Supposedly it showed "all models" but I knew some were missing.(before clicking just classics..)

Yes, the current S&W website sucks as an information source.

They should be gearing up for the no lock models soon to keep Colt at bay.
Colt keeps bringing back old revolvers, and they are very good.
With more options on the market (Kimber has some great revolvers out now, maybe they’ll keep expanding their line-up too), the frame lock will be even more of a deal breaker.
