I am desperately searching for a rubber boot grip for an N frame revolver with an exposed backstrap. There appear to be no current production models but I am aware that a set made by Sile exists. Does anyone know of a current production set or can anyone direct me to somewhere to look?

I’ve checked several auction sites but to no avail. My interim solution was to heavily modify a full size rubber grip but I would prefer an actual set. Thanks for any advice!

I know for a fact that Hogue doesn't. They make a very nice rubber boot for the K & L frames but not for the N frame. I emailed them once asking but apparently they don't feel like there's enough of a need to produce them.

Like these? They are on a 629-4 square butt 6”.

I presume these are the grips that you seek

I had or possibly have extras of this grip. The problem is that I recently moved and have no idea which box they are in

I have a set of Pach N frame compacts I don’t use.

I had these and they are the only rubber N frame boot grip I have seen ever. They are very short and make the gun hard to hold onto with 44 mags. They are very concealable however. I would try a set and see what you think. Long out of production so could take a bit to find a set.

That’s the only ones I know of and should you ever find them I will gladly purchase them.

I tried a set of those but the covered backstrap made the length of pull too long for me to easily run the trigger double action.

Grips can be, and often are, a challenge. We bought the early Pachmayr Presentation and Compac grips in the later 70s so we could comfortably handle our revolvers with heavier loads. Now those same grips have hardened over the decades () and it hurts to shoot with them installed. The recent examples are often not as well made and can show difficulty in frame fit. Can a Presentation grip be cut down to approximate a boot grip?

Altho I have the Sile rubber finger-groove grips for K and J frames, I never saw any such grips for Ns.
