New Addition: 629-5 Trail Boss RSR Edition
Was about to go to sleep last week when I decided last minute I'd hop online and see what was out there. Low and behold...I came across a Trail Boss! I couldn't pass it up so now it's in the collection. Dirty as heck.....not sure why people selling their guns don't clean them first....so the pictures are of it just arrived. I'll clean and test fire and report back.
It's a special Trail Boss that S&W sent to RSR as part of a limited edition 1 of 500 release. 3" MagnaPorted Barrel. It has the RSR Serial # on the bottom of the grip frame. It's missing the original hogue rubber grips but it does have the landyard ring so I can get a pair of Hogue grips online that the ring will fit if I want to sell it in the future. It's a RB wearing RBtoSB Target grips.

I don't have a 629 Trail Boss yet, but I have a gun similar to yours. It's a 629-1 3" with Quad Mag-na-port.

I really like my Back Packer dash 4 edition, 3 inch. I really don't care for 4 inch guns that much, but the 3 inch is fun. Not so much with full magnum ammo, though!
