Default S&W 500 Magnum Blued Finish

Happy 4th of July to all.

I hope I'm posing this question under the correct category. I recently saw a posting on another forum that mentioned a S&W 500 Magnum in a factory blued finish. I have a passing acquaintance with the stainless revolvers but am unaware of S&W offering this chamber in a blued finish, which I assume would be carbon steel. Any background on this variation would be appreciated, including the Production Code.

All model 500s are stainless steel, but there have been a few blackened stainless finish guns.

170255FC, listed as a 7.5" with compensator.
170338FC, 10.5", the "Bone Collector" version.

As murphydog states, all the 500s are stainless steel construction

Smith and Wesson used to have Ion Bond do the black finishing of the stainless frames and cylinders starting back in the 2000s. I am not sure if they still do it

But it still is a DLC coating, not bluing
