Hey guys!
First post. Love the info from everyone so thanks from a lurker.
I have a wonderful model of 1989 and I’m having trouble finding a western style gunslinger holster and belt for it. I have a vintage Lawrence for my .44 Uberti replica and it would be so cool to do the same for this 627 while on the ranch huntin’ hogs.

Any ideas or luck out there? Thanks for the help!

You might think about Simply Rugged holsters. SD Myres is another. Or you might google 'western holsters' for other firms.

BTW, welcome to the forum!

Have you tried the 627-0 in your existing Lawrence holster?

This is a Lawrence 79B make for a Ruger Blackhawk with a 4-5/8” barrel. It fits a S&W N frame like a glove! It may be necessary to add a longer hammer loop, but mine has good retention without it.

Thanks! I bought it from another forum member almost 10 years ago. It was made by Saddleworth Silversmiths. I’ve read that S&W offered these around 1999.

I have seen lesser quality versions that I believe are knock-off’s. The originals came with pretty elaborate packaging and the back of the buckle is almost as fancy as the front. The little horse head retaining hook is a nice touch!

Excellent ideas guys. Thanks to everyone for the input.

@gerhard1: Great brands. I’ll check ‘em out.
@URIT: I hadn’t heard of Old West or Cochise so I’m excited to explore them.
@s&wchad: Surprisingly it does not fit. The Lawrence holster model is 79D. I’ll try again but there may be too much meat on that bone.

Thanks again everyone!
