Smith Wesson Schofield 2000
When S&W brought these out in 2000, did they only come from the performance center or was there another version that was less expensive? Greatly appreciate any help
Thanks in advance

IIRC, they were all PC guns. Someone with a better memory than mine should be along shortly.

According to the Standard Catalog, 3 versions were produced. All were Performance Center models and the three were very similar in original MSRP. Also all were produced in the .45 Schofield caliber. Suggested retail on all was around $1500 new. By the way the 3 models are a 7" blue. a 7" nickel and a 5" in either blue or nickel called the Wells Fargo model. Not sure what the prices are on them now. The are copies made by Uberti, I believe, that retail new around $1000 in .45 Colt. If you want a shooter, unless you reload, .45 Colt price and availability will better. I would imagine an unfired Smith would be worth more and will hold it's value better. Depends on your preferences.
