Just picked up this 66-3 with target hammer & trigger that I haven't seen on a 66 snubbie before. I've seen this setup on Model 19 shorties but not a M66.
Anyway, attached are pictures of my newest addition.
Thanks for letting me share.

Some shooters don't care for the target hammer and trigger option, specially on a short barreled revolver, but I love it!

Just FYI, that is actually a semi-target trigger. preferable for double-action compared to the full target trigger that is .500" wide, just like your hammer is. May have been changed by a former owner, or a special order. If you have the box the "features" will tell you what the gun was shipped with originally.

Very nice pistol.;)

By the time the -3 variation of the Model 66 was introduced (1986), the width of the Target Trigger across K, L, and N frame sizes had been standardized to .400" for a few years. The .500" Target Trigger was long gone by then.

Great looking acquisition how does it shoot? Was it very expensive? I have a 66-6 2.75" it's great!
