A year ago I bought a SW Model 627 V-Comp (I'm not a very good shooter) – but before Christmas I went to the range – suddenly the shots sat very low (not on the shooting disc). I got another person to try the revolver with the same result. We could not see any problems with the sights. After Christmas I went again. The shots sat not so low this time. Yesterday I went to the range again. Now some of the shots was very low (at the lowest of the shooting disc) – the rest was not on the shooting disc. I got another person to try the revolver. One was to the right of the shooting disc – the rest was not located at the shooting disc. He also examined the revolver – he could not see anything wrong with the sights – but he noticed something with the V-comp. It was like there were some marks on the inside. Please see the images. I have marked the place with a red arrow. Could the bullets scratch the V-Comp?

I can't see the pics. But the bullets can hit the comp and send the bullets flying lower. That specifically happened to me on my 929. It was a loose cap that was doing this.
If the cap is on tight and still doing this, I would first put the correct diameter rod or a squib rod that I have handy and check to see the clearance on the cap. Then check the crown on the muzzle.
Or try shooting it without the caps on and see if anything changes.

I have added a link to them - so you need to click at Image 1 and Image 2
Now I can see that the comp is full of lead. It needs to be soaked and cleaned. You can definitely see at the bottom that clump there. I would say that your groups would improve if you shot without the comp or replaced it with the cap for now.
My V-comp shoots very accurately using the compensated cap . But I only shoot plated of jacketed out of it. And never get all that lead in there.
I think I heard that if you used the cap- it would be better for the lead bullets. ..

If the comp was loose and hanging down, the bullets could deflect downward off the top of the hole. Shoot it without the comp on and see how it does.

You need to clean the lead out of the comp if you shoot with it on, with any kind of bullets. You can soak the comp in a 50/50 mix of vinegar and peroxide and the lead will fall off in an hour or so. Wash the comp off well to stop the chemical reaction.

Thanks for all your feedback. I will try to shot without the compensator, clean the compensator thoroughly and see if I should use some coated bullets instead of lead bullets.
