I have a Model 29-8 Mountain Gun in excellent condition and I am curious what the current value is. Thanks!

Around here somewhere around $1200 to $1500. Probably more on an auction site.

Welcome to the forum. I possibly agree with amounts posted but pics would help along with info regarding stocks, barrel length, any extras (box, docs, etc). We like pics, especially S&W revolvers...

There were at least three 29-8 Mountain Gun iterations. At this point the value of them would be the same regardless which variant you have.
There was a Talo version and a Cabela's version. Both of these were built on the three-screw N-frame. The third variation was a stocking dealer special that was built on the four-screw classic frame. I have the Talo varaiant...
Just curious which you have.
Adios,
Pizza Bob

That's the Talo version, same as mine. 1 of 1000.

I had the SDS Heritage frame one. Beautiful gun but too pretty to carry. Ended up getting an older 629 Mountain Revolver.
