632-2 J Frame 327 Federal Magnum
Greetings friends,
Well, over the weekend I located a LNIB 632-2 Pro Series 327 Mag J frame. I wasn't really looking for one but I got the call from my LGS and proceeded down there to buy it.
Tell me what you think about them. I didn't really want to add yet another caliber but after shooting it, I think it will be fun. Even if I never shoot it again it will fill a slot in my J Frame collection that is getting rather out of control. I got one box of ammo with it and am looking for more.
Additional questions I have:
How many of my brothers and sisters on here have one of these? Tell me what you think about them.
Where is a good place to get 327 Federal Magnum ammo?
I understand that you can shoot just about any .32 ammo so what are your experiences with that in these Smiths.
Thanks!

Those are pretty hard to come buy. In fact I believe the 632-1 and -2 are the only factory Smith in 327. Should be an excellent sarry gun
I have made a couple 327 K frames and they shoot well with 327, 32 H&R and 32 S&W long. I also have a J frame 431 in 32 H&R and it shhots well. Plus, when I spotted a J frame 32 H&R cylinder on Ebay I snapped it up reamed it to 327 and fitted it and a 32 cal barrel in a 642 frame. The 327 mag is snappy in an alloy frame. I am going to stick with 32 H&R in it until I find a suitable steel frame

My local Rural King had .327 Federal Magnum ammo the last time I checked.

Steelslaver, I admire and envy your gunsmithing abilities. Those are very nice! Thank you for sharing them.
I think you are correct about the 632-1 and -2 as the Standard Catalog 4th edition only has a couple of paragraphs about them.
I was impressed with the handling and accuracy of the 3 cylinders I ran through. Looking forward to more work with it.

@505Gibbs thanks for sharing. Those are fine looking revolvers and I love the Nill grips. I've had some of his grips back when I was into HK P7's.
All the best,
