.38 Spl. will also be available.
Per the website, MSRP will be $759. 632UC, 432UC, 442UC, & 642UC.

I’ll be all over either of the .32’s.

Reintroducing a .32 H&R magnum j frame models is way overdue, so it's good they are responding the consumers.

As for the .38 special models, this is nice because it gives you all of the features of the scandium guns, with a better rear sight, and they doesn't have the scandium gun prices. I don't think many of the scandium gun owners shoot .357 magnum through those anyway.

Just when I was getting used to carrying my H&R .32 center pin revolver. Now I'll have to carry another cartridge in my inventory. I was just getting enough .32 S&W Long. I'd hate to get them mixed up.

I think they knocked it out of the park with this:

1. No-lock
2. A front sight you can see - Especially for us aging shooters with bad eyesight & who grew-up with J frames
3. An action job
4. Chamfered cylinder holes
5. Sights regulated to popular SD ammo choices
6. Grips that cover the back strap (personal preference, but I've got long fingers, an appreciate the extra reach).
7. .32 H&R giving you 6 rounds and a choice of .32 H&R, .32 S&W Long .32 S&W. This is great for recoil sensitive shooters.
8. A price tag that will probably be around the mid $600's.

Take my money.

Everything looks like an upgrade and I might be tempted, but one thing puzzles me: why .32 H&R instead of .327 Federal?

Probably isn't a scandium frame and doesn't have the strength. Or the over $1K price tag that would go with it. I think .32 H&R is at the same pressure as .38 Spl+P.

I haven't found any advertised weight, but I'm guessing around 15-17 oz. depending on grip choice.

New Revolvers

Really excited for these. Anyone know the weight ?

Supposed to weigh 16 ounces. Seems like they really knocked this one out of the park. I'd really love to see a stainless, six shot 327 Fed version of it. This one is almost identicaly to my 340 M&P as far as how its set up. I have the same VZ grips on it and an Apex trigger kit.

MSRP $759

If it's an "allocated" item, you will see exactly one at your LGS within 18 months. And not for a penny less than MSRP.

I see a lot of eye candy here but no real gain in practical performance. Front sight looks snaggy and grips too big for pocket/hideout carry. A simple red ramp would have sufficed for the accuracy potential of an aluminum frame DAO, and been lower profile with the usual fixed rear sight. Yeah I'm not seeing what is so great about this, other than a long-ignored calibre.

If S&W eventually makes a plain jane version, and a steel frame exposed hammer version, I might be interested.

It may sell, until the customer fails to see any .32 H&R Mag ammo on the shelf, and the price when it finally appears. I say this as a proponent of this round.
