Sadly since Kim had to shut down people price his grips at 2 to 3 times original cost on the big auction site.
Of course it seems many if those priced in the $300 range don't move very quick.
I have several sets of K frame that were purchased over the years for $50 to $80. The few I have sold I usually asked $80 for because can't recall what I paid and don't want to be gouged so try not to do the same. But I don't sell those on open market. More of a friendly gesture to a Forum member.
Fairly I would say $150 tops but you can always start high and work down.

I tried selling these on the accessories classifieds for weeks, originally asking $200 and down to $150. There were no takers so withdrew them.

OP
I really liked the Ahrends
I recently sold 3 N-round sets for 350
Probably could have asked for more
These are factory stocks on my 329 pd
They are gorgeous in person
This crappie picture does not do them justice

I bought all mine for under a $100, so I think they would sell in the $125 range. If they were the rnd to sq conv grips, I think they would go more.

Ahrends grips!
What's not to like about Ahrend's grips! They fit my hands and they don't move in your hand, like the high gloss finish of other grips!

I have not followed the pricing of Kim's work but years ago Kim had me draw an outline of my hand so he could make these grips fit my hand perfectly. These dark rosewood grips on this highly modified 28-2 are priceless to me. He also did a set in ebony in the same order. S&W combats do NOT feel right in my hand but as you would expect this 44 special monster feels like an extension of my body. It's the most accurate N frame I have shot.

The Ahrends website is still active. But the homepage states they are aren't taking new orders after 2-22-2020.

A pair just sold on eBay for $220. Glad I bought mine when they were less expensive.

Not quite as good as buying gold at $600 an ounce. Nice group of Ahrends'.

Another Ahrends fanboy here. I mostly liked the RB grips, bananas and combats. I still have a few sets that I cherish, but won’t pay the crazy prices many are asking. I gave “grip seller” a lot of business back in the day.

What type of wood was used in photo #3? My ebony Ahrends must have been cut from an odd part of the tree, as I think of ebony as being very dark/black.

I really liked Kim Ahrends' grips and bought a good number of them when the prices were way reasonable. They look good, feel good and enhance retention when shooting. Sorry you can only get them from scalpers now. Here's a pic of a set on my 3" 624 as an example.

K/L frame Tactical Combats? I think I bid on 'em. Won't pay that much. Picked up a set of N-frame TC's a couple weeks ago. They aren't factory pristene, but are pretty nice for $140. Need more and have a couple sets of L-frame Classic Combats I'd be willing to trade for L-frame TC's

There are different levels of Ahrends finishes. The least expensive will be the oiled finish. Dont get caught out buying the oiled finish for a high price.

I have these on a 19-3. I should have purchased a few more sets for my N frames but none of us has a crystal ball. One day I went to order and just like that, they were gone.

Ahrends grips are nice, but they're just okay nice, nothing spectacular. I bought about a dozen sets of the Cocobolo stocks before they stopped production (before the available wood was becoming unattainable). They're in my stock "accumulation" and are rarely used. The prices are really crazy now, especially for the rosewood.

I am not CH4, but they look like Black & White Ebony to me.

Not the prices I see from the speculators. I can live just knowing they were a good deal when they were in business.

I just bought a set of round to square conversion grips for $125 plus tax and shipping. I'm happy with that.

I really like Ahrend stocks and have about 8 sets. My favorite were the stocks made of Cordia wood. Here are Kim’s boot grips on a 657 (no dash) 3” .41 Magnum and his round to square on a 625-7 Mountain gun in .45 Colt.
I X-Rayed the round to square on the Mountain Gun using my bomb tech x-ray gear. The barrel is propped up on a cup of coffee.
