I have a S&W model 36-7 Identified as Lady Smith on right side of the revolver. It is in new condition and wonder what its value is.

Welcome! For the gun itself I would guess $500-550; these came with a case and lock and it might be worth a little more with those. The Lady Smith variety doesn't tend to bring extra above a standard gun.

I beg to differ. It would depend on the model I think. A post lock model 60 Ladysmith vs a regular post lock wouldn’t have much price difference. But I’ve seen pre-lock model 60 and 65 Ladysmith’s fetch $100 or more over the regular model 60 or 65, especially if you have the original case/gun rug and rosewood stocks.

I believe Alan is in the right price neighborhood. It all depends
upon whether the OP has the original box, case, papers and tools.
Those might add a fair bit to the equation. Condition matters, too.

The big change that caused the Model 36-7 is the front sight. It
grew from 1/10" to 1/8". My example is BKP9865, and it shipped
in October 1991 in a hard burgundy case made specifically for the
Lady Smith (shown with my Model 36-3 3" Lady Smith).

Later in the production run of the Model 36-7, but before 1996,
the Lady Smiths came in a cloth gun rug made for Smith & Wesson
by Bob Allen (shown with my Model 60-7 Lady Smith from 1993).

The Models 36-9 and 60-9 were the first Lady Smiths to come in
a jewel case with the Master Lock (not to be confused with the
Internal Lock) (shown with my Model 60-9 Lady Smith).
