My younger brother was in for a visit last weekend. He said since he had no idea when or if I planned to retire he was giving me my retirement gift from him now. He knows how much I like the Centennials and he made a great pick.

Nice Centennial and I like the stocks you have on it. Are they camel bone?

Regarding retirement there are a lot of factors to consider not the least being financial stability, but if you feel set I highly recommend it.

I retired very early and have never looked back. When deciding when to go I just kept thinking that every day I continue to work was one less day I would enjoy in retirement.

Whenever you make your decision I wish you good luck and a happy retirement.

Oh, and your brother is a keeper😀

Nice to see that my brother and I aren't the only ones who gift each other guns. Family bonds are priceless and I am willing to bet that beautiful revolver quickly becomes a personal favorite. I know there is a lot of sentimental value in the one my little brother got me.

My brothers will flip them for a profit.

Don't get me started on my boys. But my grandchildren are okay.

My son, who has now passed away, gave me a S&W Shield for a birthday gift.
Needless to say, I cherish that gun and would never trade it.

I would like to thank Kansasgunner for not using "gift" as a verb. I know it's entered the lexicon, used by distinguished sources everywhere. Still causes me to grit my teeth.

Nice revolver!
