Default S&W 617

First time shooting my new 617. I am very impressed, shoots better than my old Colt target 22 (got rid of that ). So far it is looking real good. The trigger seems a little weird (different) but I guess I will get used to it.

I too just picked up a 617, and after a week it had to go back, can I ask if the rear centered or did you have to crank it to the far sight of its travel to get it to zero. And can you take a pick of the ejector/rachets. I would like to see what they look. two of mine were all chewed up.

My 617 has been perfect so far. But it is a -2, so there's that too.

Off a rest, my 617 is as accurate as any of my rifles. Sights came from the factory pretty much dead on at 25 yards for any and all 40gr HV rounds. They are centered and elevated properly.
