Up at 6:30 and off to the range.
I've had this L frame B-square mount for some time ,and finally paired it up with an A.C.O.G. that I keep on my 45a.c.p. carbine conversion.
It looks unusual, but, once used to it , the results were stunning.
After warming up with the 681, I started in with my new to me 460. What a Blast!
It handled exceptionally well. Felt recoil was minimal with the Hornady 200gr. SST load.
Muzzle flip and blast concussion were on the extreme side. Shooting the gun one does not feel the concussion at all. But onlookers take a step back after the first round.
It had to be re-set into the rest after each shot fired,as it ended up jumping around quite a bit.
After shooting the boomers out of it, I fired a complete box of 45 Colt 255gr. blazer.
Double action, I was able to group 5"s at 50' and the fun factor multiplied exponentially.
