Awhile back I posted a similar question and got mixed reviews . I personally had problems with the aimtech and wouldn't recommend them , but I like the B-square that clamps on the barrel, m-12401.I was skeptical about these mounts until I saw two in action . So I mounted one on my LNIB 29-4 Whitetail Hunter and with great hesitation I started shooting it . First with my plinker loads of 4.5 gr.of titegroup then up to 6.5 gr. mid range loads to my full mag. deer hunting loads. I removed my reddot a couple times to check for tightness and found it needed no adjustment . So far 250 rds. later ,150 magnum loads it is still tight . The B-square i'll recommend.

I've had great luck with the clamp-on Weaver 307 on my K-frames. Don't know if Weaver also makes it for the N-frame though.
