Anyone have experience with no drill scope mounts? for S&W Revolvers? My eighty year old eyed could use some help, and I thought it would be fun to install a scope on a
k-38 revolver that I have, but don't want to drill the frame.
What is considered the best mount of that kind?

I will be 80 next month and I have all the usual eye problems that go with that age. I shoot a K22 (pre M17) with a scope on it and I can keep them in the ten ring at 50 yards most of the time. My scope mount is an Aimtech AMSK-1 for S&W K frame revolvers. There is no drilling or changing the revolver involved. This mount is held on with long sideplate screws that are provided with the mount. There are two other screws that grab the barrel rib to keep things from flapping around. There are even a couple of holes in the mount that you can put the original side plate screws into to keep from loosing them. I have been using this mount for about a year now and it is working very well for me. I have a S&W 1 x 4 pistol scope mounted on Weaver QD rings. Aimtech has a web site so you might want to go look. It works for me.

I have a B-square on my m-29 that has held up to several hundred magnum loads and a weaver on a m-66 .
