S&W Gunsmith in GA
I'm looking for a good S&W smith in the metro Atlanta area.
I want to get some things done to my Smith revolvers, and would like to stay local, if possible.
Anyone know of some really good Smith smiths in my area?

I live in South Metro Atlanta.
I may try Ott Gun Works.
Does anyone here have experience with him?

Jaymo, Jim Stroh is one of the top revolver smiths in the country. If you need anything serious done, he's your guy. When I lived in Atlanta, he was the guy all the serious shooters trusted.

^ Good enough for me. Dang, that's a long drive. Plus, I hate having to ship one.
I may just have to make a day trip sometime.

I used to live not too far from Jim, and was over at his house at least a couple times. His work is worth the drive. He may have quite a back log, though. He was voted Pistolsmith of the Year in 1996 by the American Pistolsmiths Guild. He's probably considered one of the top ten revolver smiths in the country, so if you need anything other than the basics, I'd highly recommend him.
