Default Extractor rod length for 2.5" barrel?

Hi folks,

I am replacing a shot-out and pitted 4" barrel on my 19-5 with a 2.5" barrel.

Can someone please educate me to the correct length extractor rod and pin?

Thanks

Simply order by barrel length. My recollection is the 2 1/2" K-Magnum uses the same extractor rod and center-pin as the 2" Model 10.***

***Faulty memory! The 2 1/2" parts are about 3/16" longer than for the 2".

Thanks Alk8944 for the reply. The problem is that I am in New Zealand & cannot order from Brownells (or any other major supplier) and will be purchasing off ebay.

So, I need to know actual length - if anyone can break out their ruler, I'd be really appreciative.

Default extractor rod

The extractor rod total length is 2.118". From the tip to the collar shoulder is 1.520". (note length may vary slightly) You should be able to trim the existing center pin to fit.
