Clearwater Reboring
Is Delta Gunshop/ Clearwater Reboring still in business or have moved? I tried the phone and it came up as changed, disconnected or is no longer in service.

Clearwater Reboring
Thanks Navy, that's the same one I have. I did a search here and looks like they have closed due to a death. Very sorry for their loss.
Does anyone else rebore handgun barrels?

John Taylor AT Taylor machine does some reboring and also installs liners, the liners I believe are JT's liners which is one of the best. JES also does reboring and gives you a choice of lands and grooves. Both have website pages. Hope this helps. Do not know if either does revolver barrels so you will probably have to ask. Frank

What are you looking at for a barrel. I cruise Ebay a lot looking at S&W barrels and see just about every caliber and length. Unless its something kinda odd you might be able to find what you need.

I have a 27 3.5" barrel I need rebored to .429 for a project we've been working on.
Any help on getting it done would be appreciated.

Jim Dubell was the owner of Delta Gunshop and Clearwater Reboring. He did great work and did a complete rework of one of my Marlin 1894SS .44Magnum Lever Rifles to a one of a kind Marlin 1894SS .45 Long Colt with SAAMI SPEC 1:16 Twist Rate. All Marlin .45LC rifles were made with a 1:38 Twist Rate for typical factory loads but for years people who cast their own bullets wanted the SAAMI Spec 1:16. In addition MARLIN never made a full length 1894SS .45LC in Stainless Steel. To make a long story short to my knowledge I own the ONLY FULL LENGTH STAINLESS STEEL MARLIN 1984SS in .45LC thanks to Jim Dubell. Unfortunately in June of 2015 Jim Dubell underwent SUCCESSFUL BACK SURGERY but later died suddenly. I have not been able to get any additional information but the Gun World lost a good man and a very good gunsmith. The family closed the gun shop apparently because no one else could do what Jim did..
