I have a 6906, a 659 and a bunch of other 2nd and 3rd gen Smith pistols.
I'd like to be able to switch magazines between guns without changing the bottom mag plate. The 659 works fine in the 6906 except there's a bunch of bare mag under the grip. I'd like to fill that space in without a permanent change.
Here's what I mean.
Couldn't find spacers ala M&Ps....anyone have any suggestions. (I do have golf gloves I sometimes use for guns with hammer bite...so that's one possibility, although sometimes I feel silly 'cause it looks so "tacti-cool.")
There are some adapters on Ebay. Just enter "PGS magazine adapter" in the search box. They may be available at other locations as well.
I have a couple of these and they seem to work well. (Precision Gun Specialties)
