32 HE reassembly question
I'm trying to put my little 32 HE back together and seem to have run into a minor issue.
I can't seem to figure out what keeps the hand in the forward position. It has the pivot pin and the secondary pin that fits into the semi-circular slot in the trigger, but none of the springs seem to make any kind of contact to put pressure on the hand to make it pivot forward and make it engage the ratchet.
What am I missing here? Does anyone have an exploded diagram they could send me to help me figure this out?

I know this is how it works on a more current model:.
There is a spring inside the trigger that captivates the smaller diameter pin on the hand. You can insert the pivot pin into the trigger and stop short of having the smaller pin protrude past the internal surface and then rotate the hand back and hold it there. Now you take a small punch or an Allen wrench and from the bottom of the trigger, push the leg of the spring past the pin on the hand. Once it's there, rotate the hand forward so that the pin is past the spring that you're still holding back. Once there, you can let go and all should be good.
Good luck; it takes a little practice, but one you learn how to do it, it's not difficult.

Here are a couple of photos that show the position the spring has to be in for the hand to work.

First photo is bottom of trigger showing spring leg.
Second photo is top of trigger with spring leg under tension on top of hand pin.
Great photos Andy.

That did the trick guys, thanks.
Now I have a new question: Anybody know where I can get a few shims to correct some slightly excessive end shake?

Good suggestion. Thanks.
I checked their website and they don't list any for I-frames, but I sent them an email to their customer service department asking if maybe one of the others they sell will work.
Anybody got any other suggested places to check - just in case they don't have any?
