Gunsmith in Ohio (Dayton, Cincy)
Hello, I'm new here and am looking for some help. I bought a used DAO Model 64 a few months ago. I disassembled it to clean it and while trying to put it back together I damaged the pin that attaches to the frame that sits behind the trigger rebound spring. Does anyone know of a gunsmith in Ohio (preferably SW Ohio) that can repair or work on old smiths? Thanks in advance.

None I'm aware of SW, but a littler farther north in Ohio is Andy Horvath, and over at Defensive Creations is Dave Laubert.
They really know S&W revolvers.

I use Spence Gunsmith. He has a Trotwood address but he's in the country. In the past he's worked on a Colt detective special for me. I have a Colt Police Positive in there right now. He has a website under that name so you can check him out online first.

Dave is great and can do anything to a S&W revolver. I have 3 guns there now  . That's a long drive though...
