Good morning everyone.

I'm looking to engage in some restoration of some old S&W revolvers that I own, and a couple that I'm thinking about acquiring.

Work would include re-bluing, removing pitting, fixing some peening in the cylinder locking bolt notches, and excessive barrel-cylinder gap.

I have a fairly unlimited budget and time is not an issue. I want what I want and am willing to wait for it.

I've seen a lot of back and forth on Ford's but I haven't seen anything about these guys.

Custom Shop, Inc. - "The Gunfather" - Firearm Sales & Restorations

Has anyone had any work done by them or seen work done by them?

Does anyone have suggestions for a turn-key operation for what I'm looking for?

Thanks in advance for the help!

You may be able to youtube it, but he had a show called Gunfather Restorations, or something like that. Watch it, take a close look at the before and after pics. IMO, I would let Bubba at Bubba's Grill and Garage do it before them. Again, my opinion. Try to watch the shows and judge for yourself.

Thank you sir. That's EXACTLY why I'm asking here.

I had my prewar Colt OMT .22 restored by them. It wasn't cheap but I'm very happy with the work.
