Recently I sent two 38/44's to Nelson Ford in Phoenix, Arizona for repair. The communication was great and the repairs/mechanical restoration are excellent. These revolvers are 55+ years old and neither local gunsmiths nor the factory would repair them.

I highly recommend Nelson Ford's workmanship.

Nelson's been doing most of my gunsmithing for the past 35 years. I can always count on him doing exactly what is needed and making sure my guns come back 100 % reliable.

If you need work and live anywhere in the Phoenix area give him a try.
 
He has an excellent rep locally. He's done some minor stuff on a couple guns for me and I've been pleased.

I am new to this site. I dropped off my Dad's SW 38 to Nelson yesterday based on the recomendations and feedback from this site. I am excited to get the gun back after Nelson does his thing

He did an action job and timing on a model 15 for me. It was one of the smoothest actions I ever pulled.
