Default Mahovsky Metalife

Desire feedback from any and all members who have used Mahovsky for finish work and whether you went with either their nickel or metalife finish. All feedback and comments appreciated. Thanks.

In the late 80's early 90's he did two 1911 for me, three for friends of mine, and a M10 Smith for a co-worker, all in Metalife, and all were happy with the results, I am still using my two 1911's and they look as good as the day he did them.

I don't have one done by them , but I have seen their work and it looks OK. They are located about 1 hr north of Pgh Pa.

Mahovsky was one of the very first to offer hard chrome plating for guns.
He's been around for a long time, and has an excellent reputation for quality work.
I have NOT seen any of his recent work.

BUT..... communication is very spotty, and delivery time estimates have a tendency to not be kept.
