    reloading .357 magnum

Would make a lot more sense, W296 isn't a "plinking" powder, unless you like "plinking" with full power/velocity loads. :D

Need to feed my new Remington 700

Are you targeting or hunting? My SPS Tactical (I hate that word) loves 168 SMK's and IMR4895, and 175 SMK's with IMR4064 and 2000MR, 150 SMK's with IMR3031 and 4895. 168 AMAX with N140 and 8208XBR, and a few more combo's that shoot in the .5's It's a 700, not too hard to make 'em shoot. Usually.

    Combined powder use?

One of the main things that I see is that as you are running your thrower one powder might "settle out" more than the other. So, if you shoot it, go for the lowest charge listed and keep an eye on things and hope you don't lose one... Jeez,,I dunno, I haven't tried that particular combination...

    First ever bullet pulled

Yes, after 40 yrs and uncountable 44mag/45 Colt rounds loaded with cast, I am aware of this... What I wanted to know is what other experienced handloaders consider to be an acceptable or desirable "interference" fit, for example, my stock RCBS expander plug gives me .003 interference with a...

What a reloader does when he is really bored

My brother, when loading .380 with a D550, managed to cycle a .32 case through with similar results. No Beer.

    Using Unique

After you use up your Unique, you might give 231 or Bullseye a try, I get better accuracy with those, probably because they meter so much better. I have been using Trail boss under a 125gr cast in 357 cases here lately, for light target loads, it shoots clean, soft and accurate.

    Backed Out Primers

    Low pressure load.

Any luck with 125gr Cast in 38 Spl?

For your gun and your components, the idea of looking in your Lyman Cast handbook is a good one. 231 will be a good choice.

It works very well, and fast.

    .45 colt brass resizing

My M25 Smith has really oversize chambers, I definitely get better accuracy from partial ("neck sizing") the cases for that revolver, and have loaded for that revolver that way for many years. The partial sizing helps keep the cartridge centered in the chambers.I full length size for my Ruger...

    .45 colt brass resizing

Sounds like a plan to me, as long as you are using the ammo in one gun. It is what I do...I just resize the first .562 (roughly) of my cases. You will probably have to full length size the cases sooner or later, depending on your loads. I seem to get somewhat better accuracy too...
