It is shroud and quiet popular thing for the carbines, it does not do much protecting hands from the hot barrel is main. I am not saying people should install it, just interesting if anyone does and how it holds this caliber.

Neither safe will feet my ammo + guns. I keep box or two with HP for home defense in safe, all other rounds are in metal boxes and stored in basement on concrete floor. It is like ton of weight and I prefer not to damage my house with it.

Guns are very addictive, I am already in research for another one. :) Not sure if I will buy another revolver soon however, it might be just 686 alone for long. I like 686 look and design but I am still in love with automatic pistols like Sig or HK or CZ or ... :)

Bushnell red dot is great but if you are shooting long range I would suggest Nikon optical scope, Busnell also makes great non expensive optical scopes. Red dot is perfect for 25 yards or closer if your eyes are young. For mags Magpul or Lancer are always great, I have many of them doubled for...

Mine MP15 Sport after all mods are done, great and extremely accurate rifle.

I never own revolver before, Sig is Ok but freedom is reloaded ammo and warranty voider for many companies including Sig. Some people having issues with it, I personally never. It is amazingly good so far in 9, .223, 40sw, 45acp. Free shipping most of the time!

I am surprised many of you don't know that this is biggest plus of Governor (45acp), I believe it is much cheaper than other two allowed. I don't like to introduce new caliber in my collection, 6 types is enough.

Anyone shot Governor with 45acp made by freedommunitions? Any issues with it? I am getting this revolver soon this week and I have couple of thousands of freedom's 45acp ready for my Sig P220, hope no issues with Governor and I could share these rounds.

Sport is just great, sites-shmites :) get good optical scope or red dot and that is all you need basically. I got Nikon scope and this rifle become amazingly accurate in results. Everything else is a meter of your taste, I like bipod and picatini handrail with vertcal grip.
