Need 1st press advice, what do you suggest?

Get a good, make that great, first press and you'll never look back. I started with a Lee Breechlock before I went to a Forster Coax press. I should've got the Coax first and never looked back.

    The 'unofficial' 58 Club

I don't. I think the reproduction of the 57 was just a temporary thing. The .41 Magnum will remain a niche caliber and for reloaders ranks with the .32 S & W Long in terms of die sales. It's a great cartridge but appreciated by few and I don't see that changing.

    The 'unofficial' 58 Club

I just got back from a backcountry hunt packing my Model 58 with a 300 grain load. It's a great fun for backcountry hunts.

    My First Wheelgun

The traditional name for what one holds on to, when referencing a revolver, is stocks. Your opinion matters not a whit. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

    My First Wheelgun

Welcome to the resolver. They solve problems. Revolvers make shooters. :) Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

Grips go on bottom feeders. Stocks are what fills the hand on a revolver. [emoji4] Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

    IS RUGER QUALITY SUBSTANDARD?

I've not had issue with their older bottom feeders but like shipwreck2 have had no issues with rifles and revolvers. I've not played with their new plastic guns. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

So what's the deal with 10mm?

IIRC there were some frame stress issues with the early Delta Elites. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

How effective were cap and ball revolvers as carry weapons?

If you want to know how effective firearms were in a time period look at the size of the knife commonly carried. In Jim Bowie's time they were less reliable, hence his large, by today's standards, machete size Bowie knife. Look at the size of the folding knife of the average LEO today. Jim Bowie...

What would you like to buy yourself for xmas?

I bought my own Christmas present this year since my wife totally forgot my birthday earlier this year. I ordered a Nosler Custom in. 338 Win Mag. Life is good. [emoji2] Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

    Incidents that haunt you

I have two that I'll talk about. The first is giving my old man CPR when I was twenty. The second, my mom trying to stick a kitchen knife in my gut one night when she was drunk. The other, harder to deal with ones, I'll keep to myself. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

    oregon next in Bloomberg sights

I'm off the belief that if one is a democrat then, whether they support gun control or not, they support the national party's agenda which is definitely anti gun. The options are, be fornicated politically now by the democrats, or be fornicated later by the republicans. Either way we will have...

How many hobbies do U have?

One, hunting. Everything else is related to that. Heck, even my job is related to hunting as it let's me buy a house to hold trophies and cook the meat of the animals I harvest. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
