I could take and send more pics.. the entire rifle looks just like the close up. of the right side of the recv... it is even cleaner then it came out of the box , when I bought, it,, like the ad says , was test fired, cleaned and put away,, there is not even a ring on the bolt face.. no...
I bought this approx 6 months before the AWB of 94, Took this one to the range the day after purchase. and fired 10 rnds in ea mag. cleaned it, and have kept it cleaned , lubed and wiped down for the last 18 plus yrs, in the safe.. all is tight and smooth... looks better then the day I removed...
I agree with all the above, sooo many variables.. from location to location,, and what is the current hot item to have... but my fav line to make us giggle in the gun shop.. is when some poor soul walks in and says,,,, But I seens one on Gunbroker for a million dollars. when wanting to sell...
HARD CHROME
The rockwell hardness of hardchrome is MUCH more resistant then other finn. I have three.. and have no issues with dings, chips or anyother prob..looks great... I have known about the properties of hardchroming for yrs. as we would hard chrome out work rolls in the rolling mills ...
Aftermarket,,, Some Dist had a bunch of nice Saxony pistols done,,, a very good job,, but have no idea. from whom... matte rounds, polished flats. it is a beauty,, a WOW piece to view it in person.
