Got some additonal pictures under the grip and of the ejector rod. Looks like a slight smudge right where the top of the grips were. Thoughts?

Went and picked it up today. It is in fact a 6" in fantastic shape with a slight turn ring. Grips are perfect. I'll get some pictures up tonight with its 8 3/8" brother. Thanks again for the help!

Found a nickel 29-2 local to me with no box or papers. Finish looks excellent with a slight turn ring. It looks like a 6.5 inch but he's saying it's a 6 inch gun. The part of the barrel in front of the lug looks longer than the lug itself by just a little, which from pictures I've seen the lug...

Should have named this differently, this is a 640-1. Didn't realize initially that the 640 was a 38spl only until the 640-1

Saw these pop up on slickguns and seemed like a decent deal for $470. Pulled the trigger on one, should be in the mail to my FFL shortly. I'll post some pictures once it gets here! Should take some of the snubby shooting burden off of my M19...

Thanks for the help guys! It came home with me today and it is in fantastic shape. It has the tightest lockup of any of my Smiths, its incredible. Stocks are factory with matching serials too. Unfortunately no box, but I think I'll let that slide. Please pardon the poor picture quality
