    More No Lock revolvers coming!

Of course, this move would have to happen a year after I bought my M&P 340!!! Someone asked earlier about the LCR having an IL. They do, btu you have to remove the grips to get to it. I don't have much love for the LCR, but if you must put a lock on a gun, that's a great place for it.

Which model 66 is most desirable, dash ? or no dash?

Not that it helps the direct question at hand, but I can share my 66 no-dash, stainless rear sight experience. Walked into my local gunshop and was handed it by the clerk. I looked it over, checked the normal checks and asked "may I try the trigger?" She said "sure." The next words out of my...

    What would you do?

Forgot to add, I think with your build you could easily carry and conceal an N-Frame.

    What would you do?

This is a tough one, but I think I would ditch the Glock. If it was your only carry peice I wouldn't do it. But since you mainly carry the 340 (one of the best carry peices, in my opinion), I would go for the 29. If it's in nice shape, $600 is a very good price. Torotoro does give sound advice...

    Bodyguard 38 vs. M&P 340

Not long ago I was in your shoes with this decision. I bought a Ruger LCR and within about 200 rounds, the return spring snapped on me- locking trigger and all up cold. While it was at the factory, I started looking at j-frames and ended up purchasing an M&P 340. I haven't looked back. The 340...

What to choose? 66-7 or 686 2.5 inch or 686-4

Intent and grip would seem to be the deciding factor in these choices. If you plan to carry, a short barrel 66 would probably be the answer or the 2.5" 686. If you're looking for a woods/fishing/range peice, a 4" 686 would fit the bill nicely. If you have smaller hands, the 66 would probably be...

Who else thinks the new bodyguard .38 is horrid looking!!

I think the new bodyguard is a decent looking revolver- certainly better looking than its LCR rival. I own an LCR, so I can say that, right?:)

    Advice on a .357

I would think for the intended purposes of home defense and range use there's no better choice in a 357 handgun platform than a 686. I own a 686p 4" and it is a very well balanced revolver that has enough heft to swallow up recoil for hotloads, but not so much heft that its burdensome to shoot...

    Ruger LCR vs 642

Hello folks- new to the forum here and thought I would share my LCR experience. I picked up a new LCR about two months ago. So much has been written about the lcr that I need not comment on it. I really liked it- although, I must admit I had to get over two hurdles. 1) It wasn't a Smith and 2)...
