I am interested in this new model. I think it would be a good companion to my M&P 340. It shoots .22 LR and looks just like the 340 with the concealed hammer and XS sight. Would you expect the trigger to feel the same? Would you expect the same accuracy?

Bill, I saw your post before you edited it. I asked someone who has the "Book" and I can tell you that the years that you mentioned, 1979, 1983, 1984, and 2001 match the serial numbers that you listed. Hope that helps.

If moisture is the enemy, why not get a cheap hygrometer? You could quickly see if the safe is more humid than your house. $6.47 at Walmart

Is there any reason not to? Would a never-fired gun be worth more?
