    Caliber conversion question

No, 50 Special. Rechambering a 28 to 45 Colt sometimes resulted in holes thru the locking notches in the cylinder.

    Caliber conversion question

Bowen has a 38-44 converting to 44 Special. He talked me out of 45 acp. I have a 625 Springfield Anniversary model. I really like. The moon clips are not a problem. The cylinder on your 28 is a little short, in 45 Colt you will have to watch your oal of cartridge. I would choose 44...

    De-Lugging an L-frame?

Seen a 5 inch 629 that had been de-lugged. Whoever, had done a neat job. Hard to tell from factory. I could/would attemp this in my garage. But my garage is fairly well equipped. Just go really slow, because you cannot put metal back!!! Twogunnes

Reloading and the movies....check out, 'Jack Reacher'.

Sounds like a waste of time!!! Would rather watch snowflakes fall!!! Why would a person waste time reading fiction, when there are so many really interesting biographies and autobiographies to read! History is really interesting as well. And you just might learn something. Twogunnes

Thinking of getting into reloading with Lee hand press

Your loading space is never enough. That is something you learn as time goes on. A lesson I learned early on always buy Green, RCBS. When I stray from that. The product always reminds me. In your handguns shoot mostly cast bullets. They kill pop cans very efficiently. Twogunnes

    Experience using Bowan Classic Arms?

My experience with Bowen is ongoing, as he still has my revolver for conversion. So far communication has been great. Years ago had dealings with Magnaport. They were more than pathetic!!! I would simply throw the project away, before they would do work for me ago!!! Twogunnes

How do you guys afford our gun habit?

Work all I can, which is really too much. I only buy the guns I really like, even if I am looking to sell them, that way I am never in a hurry to sell. Two safes packed full!!! Really need two more! I tell myself that they are my retirement $$$. I will sell a few off. That is a lie, I...
