I have both a 65-2 and a 13-3, each has a 3" barrel. If push ever comes to shove I will hang on to the 65-2 due to it being SS.

Here are my 65-2 and 13-3 (and a pic of what the 13 is capable). IMHO there is not a more versatile revolver than a 3" K.

+10 +1 I have one of each. You can't go wrong with a 3" K frame.

A 3" K-frame is, IMHO, the ultimate defensive handgun. I own a 65-2 and the 13-3 pictured below. That target is evidence of how well it shot the first time I took it to the range.
