It was the top of the line for Eley but, like anything else, varies from lot to lot, and your accuracy requirements in YOUR gun(s). Should be fine for rats at the dump!
No problems buying from Cabela's it's the selling or trading with them. An ex-employee told me that they value a trade at 60% of what they think it will sell for.

I talked to Don Nygord when he was at the Olympic Training Center and had him "tune" two of my 41's for me-they both run great with MOST target quality ammo but still don't like all of the cheap stuff. At the time the favored brand at the OTC was Eley.
Remember, they don't like to be dirty!!!
I have two M27-2s and both have a "2" on the rear of the cylinders.
Does anyone know the significance of it?
Other than the actual serial number on some early guns, and "N" on the nickel ones, I'm curious as to the marking and would appreciate an expert explanation.
