    Too much smoke

I'm in the Fla. Keys hundred miles out in the ocean, so not many options. Is an outdoor less than basic range,, pay a fee get a key thinking of joining. Have a pick-up so could bring my own shooting station and target structure. To the point need the longer distance anyway. So far, with all the...

    Too much smoke

Photo's of bullets using in my smoky .32 S&W Model 16, did notice when ordering them was a next grade up coated by this company think you're referring to. My M-14 I'm using lead Hornady 158 HBWC. Because of how little info could find on Titewad (and the precautions) agree quite possibly have...

    Too much smoke

A plain lead bullet produces lead in the smoke from the shot but coated or jacketed doesn't, is that right ? Usually use Bullseye (for years) tried Titegroup then had and tried the Titewad each seemed progressively smokier, but all grouped well. Much I have reloaded and using is lead, some are...

    Too much smoke

It's a four lane range meant primarily for gun buyers to test their purchase. I noticed others shooting factory ammo with hardly any smoke but my reloads a obvious large big black cloud every time. Part of the answer is as recommended and want to get my long barreled scoped S&W's shooting...

    Too much smoke

I'm having a problem at my local indoor range (ventilation could be a lot better) with clouds of smoke, so much so feels like a coating on my throat by time I leave. Last session was shooting 2.5 titewad behind a 158 wadcutter grouped well after the smoke cleared and could see the target again...

    Model 53

.327 mag, much like .357 with less re-coil. Versatility of using .32 long wadcutter accuracy, and the in-between route with .32 H&R Mag.

    Like new 28-2

If you transport it in a proper case and careful how you handle it, and clean it can make many trips shooting at the range and still look new. All my guns bought in the early '70's still look very close to new.

    M15-4 help please!

Try selling on Gun Broker first with a $550 starting bid, will probably head on up from there.. "Like New" model 15's go for $750 worn ex-police versions down to $325 and everything in between. Condition sets the price, I'd buy yours in a second at "$550".

    Model 29-2 Scope Mount

"Drastically Different" price,, if you mean less as apposed to more expensive count me in, both my 29's that way. At age 68 can't hit a pie plate a seven yards, but with the scope set-up X-7 dead on at 25yds.

Was anyone else watching this 29-3

Someone looking for an N frame donor for a conversion in having barrel and cylinder ready to install would be it's purpose. I've kept pace on a few like this but opted out at $500.

    finish on a 15-6 ?

Probably asked before... I'm familiar that most every Model 15 I've seen had a beautiful blued finish. I've been told this 15-6 I'm interested in has a "matte finish" (that being in my mind what would be on a M-28)? Appreciate it could get info on that claim, thanks

Bought a new gun and didn't even know I did?

For those that promised their spouse "no more buying guns" this may be the PERFECT cover story.. Told my Janet, "think I've made a terrible mistake",, she said "oh, how is that",, I continued, "there were actions I saw where the gun's bids were way off the value of their worth.. She said, "ok go...

WELL, that just spoiled everyone's Sunday night lol. Can't believe a gun store could be that far off on price. Would say this is the best deal that I've seen from a place that should be informed and know better. This should encourage the rest of us that those great gun deals are out there if you...

    finally..29-6 with Leupold came home

Just bought a new M-29 too. Had been using a M-28 that I custom converted to .44 (first photo). The new M-29 was a trade in sitting in the glass cabnet for $699 like new. Used it today with 8.0 Unique pushing a 240 Speer in mag case (second photo), as you can see had to give it a few clicks...
