    Holster ID help

Thank you for the response. I tried my hand at google and came up empty. It's pretty cool to be speaking with someone who designed it.

    Holster ID help

Hello gents, I inherited some guns, and accessories. In this bundle was a black basket weave S&W branded Bianchi holster. It has two sets of numbers stamped on it: the first set #S1411, the second #58. Can anyone tell me what revolvers this holster fits? Thanks gents.

More 629 pics as promised. Is this what you need to see to determine if it has the recessed chambers?

    15-3 S&W

Yes, I was definitely surprised and shocked when my dad walked into the room and handed it to me. This was one of his most prized firearms, so I was blown away. My dad is a very serious and composed man most of the time…not a very cuddly or emotional man so for him to give me this meant a lot.

The 629 just has mod 629 stamped inside of the housing along with a couple of other numbers. Are you thinking that it has been modified? I’ll get more pictures when I get home. Dad picked it up sometime in the mid 90s but I don’t know much else about it since I was a kid back then.

    15-3 S&W

Thanks, I will definitely look there. I found a few rear assemblies on Numrich's website as well, most were listed as seized up though. I also read that a special tool was needed to remove just the blade. Can someone verify this?

Good eye. I saw the bevel on the barrel but assumed this was normal.

    15-3 S&W

Thanks guys, I gave it a good cleaning and wipe down with an oiled cloth. I like the patina and "character" this snubbie has.

    15-3 S&W

Hello fellas, I'm a new guy here from South Ga. Just wanted to share my newest project that found in a local pawn shop yesterday. It is a rough but great functioning / shooting 15-3. It looks like it was someone's tool box or truck gun, but I could not pass it up. Lately I have got the revolver...
