If I remember correctly & someone will correct me if I'm wrong, that is a fitted piece for length. It is not just a drop in part.

Looks like the 'street' price will be a bit North of 1k. It's $1499 MSRP on the web page but it is a Super Redhawk so .. .

What little I saw on a QUICK Google search is that they've been gone for quite awhile so as you noted parts are likely scarce & expensive. It's a simple blowback with a locked barrel which is typical of good target pistols. I'd stick with a Mod 41 or if you prefer a 208 Hammerli/Sig. Just my $0.02!

When Michigan allowed them roughly 5 years ago it became VERY expensive[shame on me 😁]! I usually always carry one or atleast an assisted opener style. The dumb part in Michigan's law is that an OTF is legal BUT it 'becomes' illegal IF it has a spear point blade - go figure!

With UPS - getting the right clerk is EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been fortunate that my local UPS hub knows me by now & the questions are minimal or none. To my knowledge ONLY a FedEx hub will accept ammo. Their stores as well as UPS stores won't take ammo is my experience.

I can't recall a S70 - perhaps European only or VERY old in the US. Norma in the 70's was N201, N203 etc.

As Chad has said - the rifle is one thing BUT you'll need to add a compressor to charge it[unless you have time & a strong leg]. The compressor cost can be as low as $600 but this price range is relatively new and durability with a lot of use is still TBD IMO.

I'm not in to the antiques BUT they all look REALLY clean and nice pieces! 😊
