Just a question..... Since it is stainless, wouldn't that make it a model 629 instead of a 29? Also, I believe that when they went stainless they also went a half inch shorter on the barrel???? If this is truly marked as a stainless 29 with a 6 1/2" barrel, I would be interested in it. Thanks

I just bought a 6 inch 629-1 and I have a question I was hoping someone could answer. The model number reads 629-1 but it also has a leeter "M". I assume this means modified??? If so, how can I find out what the mod was? Thanks in advance.
