The part costs about $10 - $20. The gun may or may not work properly (probably not). Do you feel lucky?

My NRA knife showed up today.

The Buck knives I've seen at work have different boxes for the USA and China knives. I don't know if they still do that.

    Refinish an M-39-2 frame?

The bake on stuff is probably longer lasting. A friend used the bake stuff to re-finish the frame on a Colt Cobra. I carried the gun for years and the finish held up well. Be advised. If you plan on baking your gun in the kitchen oven, do it when the wife / girl friend is out of the house...

    HIGH FLIGHT

Several years ago, at the DeKalb air show, someone auctioned off a ride in a Mustang as part of a fund raising deal. I had five bucks in my pocket and was very disappointed. The next year, I showed up with ten crisp hundred dollar bills. The only rides offered were in a Ford Tri Motor. I...

    WINNERS CHOSEN 1000 POST KARMA

Well, it took long enough. To celebrate this auspicous occasion, I'm offering a Soldier's Rosary to one lucky winner - maybe more, depending on participation. To see what it looks like, go to OUR LADY'S ROSARIES - SOLDIER'S / BULLET ROSARY OUR LADY'S ROSARIES - ROSARY ANATOMY I'll...

    UPS sucks canal water

I think all carriers have bad days. Sent a letter via Priority Mail (with tracking) from the Chicago Southwest suburbs to one of the North suburbs. It went to Columbus, Ohio before being delivered. It was only two or three days late. No big deal.

    Opinions please- WW-II Walther P-38

I had a WWII version. Shot it quite a bit, but really didn't like the stiff trigger. BTW If you field strip a P38 and Beretta 90 series gun, you may notice the similarities.

    M&P 9, 40 & 45

I'm not sure what those letters mean. I installed the duty carry package on the 40 & 45. Am considering getting the aluminum trigger for them. This seems to have gotten pretty good reviews on some vendor sites.

    M&P 9, 40 & 45

I've owned an M&P40 since about 2006. It does not have the manual safety. Last year, I bought an M&P45 with manual safety I installed the Apex Carry kit in both. The M&P45 trigger feels great. The M&P40 trigger, to me, feels the same as the original. About a month ago, I bought a...

    HIGH FLIGHT

I have a framed copy that came from Dayton, Ohio (USAF Museum). I was an avionics technician (Autopilot / AFCS and Compass systems) for twelve years in Uncle's Air Force. Once, during a TDY to Panama, I had the opportunity to fly the canal in a Huey. The cargo doors were open and intercom...

    COMMERCIAL-GRADE VACUUM SEALERS

It's actually a gift for myself, since I'm the one that eats most of the meat in my house. The wife won't be offended by this kind of gift, since she's a chef and enjoys new "toys." Besides, when she wants something, she knows she'll get it. Thanks to all for your input. I really...
