My wife and I were watching The Rifleman tonight. His was an 1894 Winchester 44-40(googled it). Pretty cool. Modified to fire when lever operated. Tube fed magazine with 8-13 rounds depending on size of rounds. Quite the weapon.

Before getting my Shield my LEO daughter was pushing hard for me to get a Glock. I rented the Shield and Glock 43. Both shot well and were very comparable in performance but the Shield just felt better in my hand. I liked the extra round or 2 and the price better as well.

How do you do the gold "fill"? That is a nice touch.

I have a new Shield and loading the mags were tough! The springs are so tight and I barely got the last round in the 7 round mag. Got a loader and it is so much easier. I am sure over time this will get easier.
