Irwin-Peterson In past research on the Irwin-Peterson Carbine I had for many years, they had only made 2000 some complete weapons, but were not accepted because of Rockwell hardness test of the metal. The 500 dollar paperweight Model 60

A double load of 2.7 Bullseye caused my Model 60 to do the same thing. I sent it to the factory with a BIG letter of it was my fault, and they allowed me a new gun at Police price. Now that was in the good old days, but I'm sure that wouldn't work today.

    Model 19 Inoperable!

When I shot the Combat Law Enforcment Course Model 19's had just come out and were real popular. Many shooters shot .357 mags. The early 19's had cylinders that were bored to close and did not hold the mag. power. I sent at least 4 back to the Factory, including mine for repairs, because the...

    Just got a pleasant surprise

Lost & Found Here in Flagstaff, we were blessed with a VERY good old school gunsmith. You didn't pay him to learn how to fix something, he already knew. One day I was digging in my stash and found several boxes of Winchester .25-20's. Made me think, why do I have these ? Fast forward several...

    Winchester Model 12 Shotguns

Model 12 At one time I had 15 model 12's in all gages. Still have most of them. You can a adjust the lock up on the two haves by removing the...

Pstol The Arizona Highway Patrol carried Smith Model 19 "4 barrels in the 70s. When the Model 66's first came out they had stainless sights which was hard to see in bright daylight, I had one. Smith changed them to blue. Today they are the Troopers and carry 9mm Sigs I think. Just found out...

    Latest Model 41 Problem

Model 41 When I started shooting Bullseye, I bought a new Model 41. I could never get it to shoot 90 rounds without a alibi, no matter what ammo I used. It went to the Air Force Marksman Ship Unit twice. I gave up and got a High Standard 106 and never had any more problems.
