I had a 629 5” Classic and a 69 4.25”. I wanted a 4” full underlug ported 4” which S&W doesn’t make. I bought a Taurus M44 and after 1000 rounds I’m very pleased with the quality.

I sent my Taurus G2C .40 in for a repair. 10 days from when I sent it in to when I got it back. Satisfied with the time frame and repair.

I have 600 rds through my Taurus M44 and no issues. With its 43oz weight and ported barrel I can get 6 shots on target quickly.
