That firing pin moves very fast. Place a piece of an index card in between the rear of the cylinder and the firing pin hole. Pull the trigger. Remove the piece of index card and see if there is a hole made by the firing pin. Make sure the main spring strain screw is in tight.

Check your rebound spring. One end is cut, and the other end should be finished. If both are cut, you need to replace it. You can find them on Ebay.

Letter says it shipped on February 1, 1923, and delivered to Andrew Harris Co., Providence, RI. The records indicate that this revolver was shipped with a 3.25 inch barrel, nickel finish and checkered walnut grips.
