Now, now, New Jersey is a safe place - only peaceful people live there and criminals are just not welcome. In fact, New Jersey's known world-wide for being a hotbed of peaceful, non-violent, non-criminal behavior. There's simply no reason to arm yourself in New Jersey.
I bought a pistol from Grabagun, cost of gun + $6 s/h, arrived at my ffl 5 days later, $20 fee, out the door. Painless, a little slower than buying at a storefront but no tax, no high markup = :D. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.
As I've been perusing through various guns recently, I've started wondering which of these variations on the theme actually benefit the gun more?
Is nickel as good as chrome? Is stainless better? What is "good enough" vs. "excellent" vs. "superior" in reality, not just in a dealer's view?

Why not up the ante and barter for two dogs? If he wants to move them and he wants the gun, what have you got to lose? You're in the strongest position here.
Inside MS Works, if you choose:
File -> Save As
and in the window that comes up select:
".rtf" or "Rich Text Format" (it will say one or the other)
then rename the file and click the "Save" button.
Your friend will be able to see the file just fine and it will save all your formatting...
I'm not sure there is anything we can really prepare for completely apart from making our peace with God and putting our trust in Him. That's why I'm not entirely on the "prepper" bandwagon.
On the one hand, I do think that moderate preparations like a several weeks worth of food, water, and...
Thanks guys, here's the gun - sorry about leaving out the caliber and pertinent details. The 608 is in .357 and comes in a 4" & 6.5" barrel.

I've been planning to buy a new pistol and was looking at 9mm and .45 autos but I happened across the Taurus 608 with the 6.5" barrel. It's not what I was originally looking for but...
I don't know what came over me, whether it is the stainless finish, its "don't mess with me, I eat glocks...

Congrats on your 15-22!
One of the things that really made shooting more enjoyable for me has been using reactive paint targets that clearly show where I hit. I like these: Amazon.com : 40 Pack - 10x16" Reactive Splatter Target 5 Bulls-eyes Per Target - Multicolor - Total of 200 Targets on...
If you want an MP5 clone, the H&K MP5-22 is pretty nice. It gets good reviews for the most part and Cabela's had them in stock back when I was looking in January. The sights were much nicer than the ones in the pictured review of the GSG version.

I have much better luck with natural light and a macro. Sunny days are pretty good for lighting but I prefer cloudy days as the clouds diffuse the natural light and light the subject evenly. Full spectrum lightbulbs help with interior shots.
Lentils... lentils are bad news. Actually, on a more serious note, Claritin gave me horrible nightmares. I couldn't sleep, gained about 50lbs, and felt terrible with it. Took a couple of weeks to get away from the side effects after stopping it, but finally am getting back to normal.
My personal favorite:
Take a rubber band and wrap it around the trigger of the spray nozzle on the kitchen sink. Make sure the nozzle is aimed properly. ;)
It's not overly involved or dastardly, but it's totally worth the price of admission.
It must be nice to be omniscient.
I would much rather be wrong and prepared than right and unprepared.
I'm done here. Thank you again to everyone who helped. I am very grateful. If any of you ever need advice on computer problems or a good editor, I'd be more than happy to return the favor...
Thanks for the advice. I'm not in the habit of lying. I kept most of the details out of it and changed some to protect myself. I have always kept my nose pristine. I didn't go looking for this.
The direct threat was from the younger coworker, not the employer. He was very direct. Suffice it to...
