    Shotgun State Of Readiness

I'm an old LEO and keep my shotgun loaded along with my Winchester 30-30 loaded in the corner next to my bed. We have prowlers now and then. I have caught several and had our police force come pick them up. The prowlers always thanked the the cops saying I was going to kill them if they moved...

    Model 19 vs Python?

I have owned both in the past. The Python was beautifully made, and shot like ****. Never knew why, but it did. Therefore I carried the Smith on field duty and it always shot smoothly and accurately. As an 81 year old man now, I only carry a semi-auto 40sw caliber!

    40 caliber semi automatic pistols

My .40cal pistol is a SW40c. This is the pistol that is actually a Glock that Glock sued S&W over and Glock won. As a retired Federal LEO, I have seen what a 9mm and a 40sw projectile does to the human body. There is no comparison! The 40sw really tears up the human body and will always win this...

    Kel-Tec sub2000 uses S&W 59 series magazines

I have one. Got it when they came out. Great to have it in the passenger seat when I have to drive thru a bad area of a city. Or on a long distance drive. Extra magazines too.

    How many carry a .22

I carry in my waistband a KEL-TEC PMR 30. 22 magnum, 30 round magazine plus one in the chamber. Also carry another full magazine in my pocket! This is real firepower folks, and the weight is negligible. Also negligible recoil and easy to fire rapidly!

    22 WMR defense?

I also shoot a PMR-30 by Kel-Tec. A perfect car gun. Extra loaded magazine next to it makes a very good personal carry or a car gun.

    I went Looking for a Winchester 94

In 1964, Winchester made a big change in their Model 94. Pre-64, the receiver was fully machined from billet steel. High cost to machine it. After '64,,The receiver was made from "sintered" steel, which means that powdered steel was melted and poured into the receiver mold, then cooled, and then...

OMG - I have been drug off into the dark side. Black guns!

I remember the first Glock pistols I saw were being carried by our California Highway Patrol in Crestview,CA. patrol Station on US HWY 395 in the Eastern High Sierras. After being stationed here in Bishop,CA. for many years in the past, my Wife and I have moved back here, to live out our lives...

OMG - I have been drug off into the dark side. Black guns!

Not a Glock fan.As a retired LEO,Federal, our Agency stayed with Smith&Wesson. I still keep my SW40c handy. Yes, it has a lot of Glock design in it,as Smith&Wesson copied a Glock.

    Professional Pistolero Help Needed

I worked on the Angeles NF. Marijuana plantation eradication. I had a dedicated satellite so I could "look down and identify" the owners and workers, and send in Armed Rangers to arrest and bring out the MJ. A very successful way!!!

    Walther PP Pawn shop gem

A very nice collector's firearm. The precision of machining is the highest quality. The caliber is the minimum for a protection pistol though. Thousands of people have been killed with this caliber after an intense interrogation by the WW2 Gestapo.

    Handgun hankerings

Get a Smith&Wesson model 60-8, which is a 5 shot .357 magnum. 38 high power ammo is what i like best. 20 rounds to a box. For a snub, it is unbeatable. Saved my butt in a hold-up as I was checking out. Today, I am just too old, so I have to depend on the younger generation to step up and do the...
