64-3~~ Leave square or make round~~?

I saw another thread this morning that seems to indicate the J&G Sales has some used M64 RBs at what seems to be reasonable prices. Howard

    S&W GRIPS

Dont let my wife see this photo. She will make me accumulate grips instead of guns since it is likely a bit cheaper. Nice looking bunch. Howard

    Box Question

Thanks to all for the info. Dick, I agree about the correct box. My patience level is such that I hadn't even considered that possibility. I would guess I'd have better chances at the lotto. Howard

    Box Question

I have a M520 that did not come with a box at purchase. Which of the many box variations is correct for that pistol? That would provide me with a relatively inexpensive quest. Thanks, Howard

    9mm reloading questions

I too have had good success with AA5. It is my favorite w/115 / 124gr in 9mm. I have used 6.5gr w/115 with good luck. Makes about 130pf. Hogdon Titegroup is my other pick. It is very frugal. 4.3 gr w/115 does well in my G34 or MP Pro. Howard

    My Department Did It!

I remember with fondness the old days when we could carry our own. My M58 was heavy but comforting. Then we progressed to SW 651&M65s,made the switch to autos(3906,4506,5903 as you preferred), then to 5903s only, and finally to Glocks. Yes, I've been at it for awhile. If Smith had come out with...

    Alternative 38 Special bullets

Skip - good question. I'll dig out the mic and check. I hadn't thought about the case belling or taper crimp issues either. Thanks to all. I shall report back on the results.

    M&P vs. 3rd gen

I concur with the group. I have carried 3903,4506,4006, & a 5903 as a duty guns (couldnt be content after I had to give up my M58 in the name of progress),still have a 3904 (w/barsto barrel-a silk purse exercise...) and a 3913. My M&P Pro will out shoot all of the above.

    Alternative 38 Special bullets

Has anyone tried using 9mm plated bullets in a 38 Special? I would think with the small diameter difference any issue would be accuracy rather than safety. I ask because I have some 147 plated 9mms that I have decided I really dont want to use for 9mm loads. Thanks, Howard

Thinking of trading my M&P... bad idea?

Yet another vote to keep the M&P. But if it is the only one you have- that is the root of the problem. Get another.

    Best IWB holster for MP9c

Price is always a consideration, but quality stuff lasts. I have used a Milt Sparks VM2 for years with a G23. Their holsters are worth waiting for.

    .357 cases not resizing properly

I concur w/Sgt Preston about the check gauge. They are cheap and save much frustration. Also, Evolution Gun Works usually has (on back order at present) an undersize 38 SPL die. I am waiting for one in 38, but the 9mm, 40, and 45 dies work great, especially for brass rats like myself.
